With competitive rates and a simple yet flexible product design these two new products aim to provide a comprehensive income protection solution.  In fact, PE and BPE now cater for key man insurance.  This enables your clients to provide cover to not only their own lives but key personnel too, by allowing for the Life Assured to be separate to the Policyholder.

BPE and PE offer Temporary Income Protection as the compulsory benefit with Business Overhead Protector and Permanent Income Protection benefits available. 

Complimentary benefits available on both these products at a policy level include:

• GIB. Every third anniversary, your clients have the opportunity to increase their cover, without medical underwriting, by 20% subject to the proof of income.  This is limited to an amount twice the original income at policy inception or a maximum of R75 000 on BPE and R100 000 on PE.

• Waiver of Premium waives your client’s premiums for the duration of the claim payout period.  Uniquely, this benefit pays in arrears for the actual period that your client is in claim. 

• Driver’s extension.  In the event that your client is unable to drive (as essential to their job requirements), is not qualified as temporarily totally disabled but is still able to continue in their nominated occupation, the Drivers extension benefit will pay R250per day towards the cost of a driver for the claim period.
